What is Mentoring Matters?
Mentoring Matters is a virtual professional group mentoring and networking event, bringing together leaders (guest mentors), and community members to connect with each other and discuss important topics. Guest mentors will share insights and lessons learned from their careers, and attendees will have time to ask questions.
This is a valuable opportunity to learn from a successful leader in a field of interest to you while simultaneously giving back to the youth in Middle Tennessee.
Who are the guest mentors?
We have assembled an esteemed group of high-profile guest mentors in a variety of fields to virtually meet with a small group of attendees who purchase tickets to join their table. Each table will include the guest mentor and no more than nine attendees, and the discussion will be guided by a topic determined by the guest mentor. You can read about our guest mentors here.
When is the event?
Date: Wednesday, September 22, 2021
VIP Networking: 5-5:30 p.m.
Main event: 5:30-6:30 p.m.
How much are tickets?
General admission tickets grant you access to meet with the guest mentor of your choice for an hour of professional development, networking, and Q&A. These can be purchased for $80.
VIP tickets grant you access to all of the above plus an early networking session with guest mentors and other VIP ticket holders, as well as a BBBSMT swag box as a thank you for your generous donation. These can be purchased for $125.
